We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at Change Grow Live. As an Addiction Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals who want to quit smoking.
Your primary responsibility will be to promote the benefits of stopping smoking and provide guidance on nicotine addiction interventions. You will work closely with service users to develop personalized treatment plans and deliver support through one-on-one sessions, groups, and drop-in services.
You will also be responsible for undertaking risk assessments, contributing to risk management plans, and recording client data in accordance with contractual and administrative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the benefits of stopping smoking and provide guidance on nicotine addiction interventions
- Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans for service users
- Provide support through one-on-one sessions, groups, and drop-in services
- Undertake risk assessments and contribute to risk management plans
- Record client data in accordance with contractual and administrative requirements
About You:
To succeed as an Addiction Specialist, you should possess a first-level registered nurse qualification with recent relevant experience. You must also hold a current PIN and have a sound knowledge of working within PGDs. Additionally, you should be willing to undertake specific tobacco addiction training as required.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
