About the Role:
Change Grow Live is seeking a highly motivated Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team as a Nicotine Addiction Practitioner. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with nicotine addiction.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance and support to service users who want to quit smoking. You will work closely with them to develop personalized treatment plans and deliver interventions using a variety of techniques, including motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies.
You will also be responsible for contributing to project development and working effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to service users who want to quit smoking
- Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans using a variety of techniques
- Contribute to project development and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver interventions using motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies
About You:
To succeed as a Nicotine Addiction Practitioner, you should possess a first-level registered nurse qualification with recent relevant experience. You must also hold a current PIN and have a sound knowledge of working within PGDs. Additionally, you should be willing to undertake specific tobacco addiction training as required.
What We Offer:
