About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Tobacco Addiction Specialist to join our team at Change Grow Live. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the benefits of stopping smoking and the tobacco addiction service through various mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to service users wishing to become smoke-free through one-to-one sessions, groups, drop-in, and telephone support.
  • Undertake assessments, plan, and deliver tobacco addiction interventions, including nicotine replacement therapies.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and risk management plans as appropriate.
  • Record and input client data and information to ensure the service operates within contractual, administrative, and financial requirements.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a first-level registered nurse with recent relevant post-qualification experience and a current PIN. A non-medical prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake it is also required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Sound knowledge of working within PGDs.
  • Ability to assess and formulate treatment plans with service users.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work compassionately, respectfully, and flexibly.
