**About the role**
The Department of Health and Social Care is looking for an energised, driven and curious person to join our Policy and Strategy Team where you will have the opportunity to learn the system of government, develop research skills, work with senior officers, support the Minister with objective and impartial advice and learn how to navigate Tynwald process, ultimately turning policy in to law.
Initially, this role will be ring-fenced to support the work of the Health and Care Transformation Programme, established following in independent report in to health and social care provision on the Isle of Man in 2019. You will be part of the project team helping to deliver improvement as part of the Health and Care Transformation Programme, reporting to and supported by the Transformation Legislation and Policy Lead. This role is about making health and social care provision on the Island modern, flexible, equitable and effective through the development of policy and corresponding legislation.
