Policy and Administration Executive Officer

**About the role**
Join our Crown and Elections Team as the Policy and Administration Executive Officer where you will develop electoral policies and processes, research and identify changes in best practice and work with senior colleagues, political members and legal advisors to ensure electoral legislation is up to date and democratically applied.
Working at the heart of Government, the Crown and Elections Team administer the democratic election process for both the House of Keys and the Local Authority elections. As a member of the Crown and External Relations Directorate you will have the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of people; building a strong network of contacts across the Isle of Man and further afield.
You will gain a clear understanding of the legislative process and gain practical experience of the administrative process required to bring forward new legislations. You will regularly communicate with political members, providing briefing papers to the Council of Ministers and His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor as required.
