**About the role**
We have an exciting HEO Policy, Legislation, Governance opportunity at Customs and Immigration Passports, Immigration and Nationality (PIN). The role requires an individual who will be responsible for the Policy, Legislation & Governance within PIN who will need to be a proactive self-starter, organised, and an effective communicator to work in this fast-paced, multi-service environment.
You will manage the day to day delivery of the PIN legislation and policy programme of work, managing the development and maintenance of policies and legislation across PIN and disseminate through due processes the preparation of drafting instructions, drafting secondary legislation, related memoranda, briefing papers and guidance documentation. You will also undertake in-depth research and analysis from a range of sources, with the provision of high quality advice to officers, senior officers at all levels.
