**About the role and our team**
Join our well-established Staff Welfare Service as a Staff Welfare Officer
In this role, you will be primarily providing a confidential one to one counselling service for Government staff. In addition, the service provides a specialist advisory and support service in relation to welfare and wellbeing matters.
Some of your other main duties will include:
- ** Advising** and supporting the organisation in developing and implementing policy, procedures and arrangements
- ** Recording **and analysing information, providing management statistics that protect confidentiality of users
- ** Developing** and maintaining professional relationships with other organisations and services dealing with related areas of work
- ** Developing** and delivering a range of specialist services that contribute to the organisations management of staff wellbeing

**Additional information**
Please note a basic police check is required for this post** **which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.
A full valid Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this role.
A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
