Description
Initial allocation of functions of which the post holder will have direct responsibility:
- To perform all work assigned in a timely manner, economically and in line with company policies and procedures
- Responsible for invoicing sales/monthly invoicing, banking, petty cash, and assisting with prestige requests
- To assist with the ordering of any parts as and when required to do so
- Overall responsibility for purchasing stationery items required for all garage business
- Responsible for the management, database and upkeep of all company archive in line with GDPR guidelines
- To carry out all front of house administration duties including overall responsibility for managing the hire system
- To maintain a high level of competence for the work to be undertaken by undergoing on-site training, attending courses as and when required to do so
- To actively co-ordinate all vehicle bookings using APEX and liaise with customers, clients and colleagues where necessary ensuring that all data is inputted as required
- To ensure the company image of professionalism, confidentiality and quality of service is maintained when dealing with customers, clients and colleagues, using a consistent professionalism approach
- To carry out all duties in a safe manner and comply with all matters relating to health and safety
- To maintain all garage equipment, protective clothing and work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition
- To assist management with the introduction of new methods of work designed to improve efficiency
- To carry out any other duties as required
This list is not exhaustive and can change to meet the needs of the business at the discretion of the line manager and/or chief executive.
**Working hours**:
Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:30
**Wage**:
National minimum wage for apprentices (£5.28 per hour)
**Annual leave**:
20 days per year + 8 days bank holiday
Entry requirements
GCSE grade 4/C in Maths and English - desirable.

This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.
