Contract Length: 12 months 
Salary: up to £28k (DOE)

I am currently supporting a Barnsley client with a Purchasing Administrator for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

You will be a crucial support to the purchasing team and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies.

You must be Immediately Available to be considered for this role. 

Your responsibilities as Purchasing Administrator will include:

Effective planning, purchasing, and expediting
Process purchase orders 
Coordinate with various departments to make sure orders arrive on time
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time deliverY
Working closely with external freight forwarders
Admin including commodity codes etc 
Requirements of the Purchasing Administrator:

Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Excellent excel skills (vlookup, sumif , pivot table at a minimum)
