**Job description**

We have an amazing opportunity for you to join us at a leading Battery Specialist warehouse in **Barnsley **as a Part Time Purchasing / Accounts assistant. We are looking for dynamic people that are looking for a long term career as the business continues to grow.
- Previous Accounts or Purchase Ledger experience
- Previous administrative experience
- Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience using accounting software
- Must be highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
- Passion to learn and grow

**The Role and Responsibilities**:

- Daily invoicing to customers
- Posting cash payments to the ledger
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Reconciling cash payments to all bank accounts
- Printing monthly reports - Debtors and Creditor Statements
- Managing company and employee expense claims
- Matching invoices to good received notes
- Answering supplier queries with regards to invoices and payments
- Managing your own key performance indicators (KPI’s)
- Generating purchase orders and Invoices
- Chasing Suppliers for PO delivery dates and confirmations
- Purchase pricing file management
- Manage purchase order requests from internal departments.

Working Hours:

- Mon - Fri 09:00 - 14:30 (flexible) with 30 minutes lunch break

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £14,600.00-£16,000.00 per year
