The Opportunity

We are looking for a Procurement Intern to join our Sales Finance Management department supporting the Procurement Manager.

Working hours are M- F 09:00 – 17:30 however flexibility required as necessary to fulfil role and responsibilities.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Support the company with indirect purchases orders: suppliers, materials, possibilities, scheduling, integration, etc.
  • Obtain information about the necessities of the stakeholders, contract and control the purchases made
  • Register proposals and generate purchase orders
  • Assist the Procurement Manager with supplier management according to the HQ policy
  • Learn about compliance with procurement policies and processes
  • Ad-hoc reporting, analysis and other tasks as requested

Skills, Education & Experience

  • Data literacy - strong numerical reasoning
  • MS Office competency, particularly Excel.
  • Good interpersonal skills, especially to be able to communicate externally with suppliers and internally with colleagues
  • Good time management and organisational skills to meet timescales and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Good computer literacy
