Emea Energy Senior Buyer

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the company requirements for Energy category are fulfilled with focus to quality, service, and total cost of ownership, which are consistent with the needs of our internal business partners, the opportunities presented by the market, and meet our short and long-term requirements.
- Operate as Contracts specialist and contract programs owner as well as supports other Procurement Energy functions for Market data and supplier costs calculations, and adherence to SLA ensuring procurement compliance and deployment of Category strategy goals.
- Manage communications between K-C suppliers and our internal business partners to ensure business needs are met on an ongoing basis and to ensure adherence of supplier to service level agreements (SLA’s).
- Develop and maintain expertise on vendor selection, relationships, and negotiation.
- Work side by side with Supplier and Stakeholders Procurement Manager to drive stronger market insights and better understanding of relevant Energy Government Aids to provide our business partners with the right level of knowledge to make the right business decisions in terms of our Energy category.
- Provides active support to the maintenance of Energy data tools by working closely with Energy Business Analysis Procurement Manager.
- Provide active support in our Energy Sustainability Projects, especially around the contract management area.
- Operate with an E2E Supply Chain / Business mindset, and in partnership with BU, to ensure service continuity, continuous improvement and maximized value delivery to enhance K-C brand equity and ultimately improve K-C’s level of profitability.
- Ensure that internal control requirements are met in an efficient and effective manner.

**Qualifications/Education/Experience Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or Procurement experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
- Good ability with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

**Desirable qualifications and experience**:

- Eagerness to grow and learn.
- Negotiation skills.
- Procurement/Supply Chain experience.
- Relevant experience in Contracts management and contracts definition.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of Continuous Improvement and end to end process thinking.
- Proven experience in building effective working relationships and team dynamics.

**Languages**

You will need to be fluent in English any other language will be a plus.

**Travel**

**There are travel expectations with the role as supply and business partners are located across the region. All travel is planned in advance and therefore should not be a barrier for applicants with family/carer commitments.**:
