**EMEA Strategic Communications Business Partner (**Fixed Term Contract**)**

**Location: Walton Oaks**

The Kimberly-Clark Professional (“KCP”) EMEA Strategic Communications Business Partner contractor will develop and execute communications strategies and initiatives to support business goals in the EMEA/LAO region.

This position is a 11-month contract role, reporting to the Director, KCP Global Communications, and supporting the VP, KCP EMEA/LAO. This position will serve as a strategic counselor to the KCP EMEA/LAO leadership team and will work closely in partnership with the Strategic Communications Business Partner, LAO.

**JOB SUMMARY**

Provide strategic communication counsel, communications plan development and execution to support KCP EMEA business unit objectives and drive employee understanding and engagement. Internal and external communications support of KCP EMEA internal and external priorities and programs to drive understanding of the annual strategic business plan, enterprise culture initiatives, and change initiatives. Collaborates with Global Communications team members to provide communications support of enterprise-wide Kimberly-Clark strategy and culture initiatives.

**PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Provides communications counsel to region VP and his leadership team to ensure priorities and messaging are aligned and articulated in a manner consistent with overall company strategy and business goals.
- Acts as the internal/external communications lead for KCP EMEA crisis response.
- Works collaboratively with peers and functional partners in Sales, Marketing, Communications and external agencies to ensure consistency of messaging across various audiences and channels.
- Gathers employee sentiment analysis to help senior leaders understand team members’ perspective on company direction, strategy and culture.
- Assists in the development and execution of external thought leadership and executive speaking programs.
- Serves as lead with external agency partner on public relations support for trade shows, events, industry awards and sustainability initiatives.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- This position requires extensive years of experience in communications and/or marketing. Finance/operations knowledge a plus.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong executive presence and ability to work closely with senior leaders as a strategic thought partner and advisor.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and proactively in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment; you are a thinker and problem-solver who can make smart decisions without having all the answers.
- Agile, highly motivated, goal and results-oriented, with ability to respond quickly and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal communications skills, including giving presentations. Must be able to influence others.
- Proven writing and editing skills, analytical skills and creative experience necessary to address targeted messages to a variety of audiences; fluent in digital/social communication strategies, including existing and emerging platforms.
- Experience driving proactive external communications (media relations, industry relations, thought leadership, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal partners including Sales,
- Creative platform experience a plus (Canva, Social Chorus, Video Shooting/Editing, etc.).
