Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Commercial Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR COMMERCIAL OFFICER**
- Deliver and support in delivery of projects, procurements and contract / supplier management roles across the full Commercial DNA providing functional / specialist input to improve ways of working and business change & efficiency.
- Responsible for explaining specialist Commercial guidance to operational teams in order to influence compliance with Defra policy / legislation / best practice ways of working and contribute to the delivery of business plans.
- Keep up to date on changing legislation / best practice externally, to inform internal priorities and appropriate alignment.
- Contribute to the development of strategies and development of team capability

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR COMMERCIAL OFFICER**
- Managing Procurements through the whole lifecycle NEC3/4 Contracts and Construction experience
- Running a competitive tender process
- Contract Management CCS frameworks experience
- Some experience in Procurement or Category Management
- Taking on Multiple procurements at one time
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Self starter
- Quick learner
- Public Sector Procurement Knowledge
- Experience of using E-procurement systems (Atamis)
- Some report Writing Stakeholder engagement
