Our client is a well established commercial finance lender who are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager within their Export Trade Finance team.
Full training will be provided and previous sales experience is essential.

The role is suitable for a self-starter who is highly motivated, enjoys working in a target driven environment and has experience of Financial Services into the commercial market. Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

Build and maintain new and existing professional working relationships from a variety of lenders and act as a primary contact for new business.
Manage and progress all new business enquiries and prepare / submit new business files to credit committee, ensuring that they meet our credit policy and contain all information required, allowing the underwriter(s) to assess the proposal quickly and accurately.
Contribute ideas and positive suggestions at regional sales meetings to ensure continual development and product development.
Achievement of lending targets whilst ensuring that new business quality standards are acceptable and maintained.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

~Banking/Finance background ideal but not essential
~ Strong commercial awareness
