Eastern England, United Kingdom Anago Full time

About Anago Education

At Anago Education, we perceive a job as more than mere employment: it’s a chance to create a significant and enduring influence within the public sector.

We believe that the quality of public services is a concern for us all. For the last 25 years we have been developing and enhancing our state-of-the-art software to deliver a positive impact on the experience of people in society using public services.

Through our comprehensive Planning & Control cloud solution, we help Multi-Academy Trusts to maintain control over their entire financial cycle; streamlining intricate, variable financial and staff procedures to enable well-founded decision-making for enhanced quality of education.

We have a unique methodology to measure our success. Imagine a school with 500 pupils and 60 staff and administrators. This we term the ‘cohort’. The Academy trust of the school uses our software, enabling effective budget-allocation. This facilitates a more efficient distribution of resources, thereby improving the standard of education delivered and enhancing pupils’ and students’ experiences. Since pupils and staff alike benefit from the value our software brings, our measurement of success is the size of this broad cohort. Our objective is to make a signific enhancement for 30 million individuals worldwide by 2033.

Unlike traditional IT companies, we develop sector specific software solutions with a real social impact. We work diligently together as a team of 55 highly passionate colleagues. Building on our proven track record of success in the Netherlands, we are poised to launch into the UK market. Join us as we expand our influence within the education sector.

Role Overview

As we venture into the UK market, augmenting our presence and product sales is of utmost importance. You will be in charge of the complete sales cycle—from prospecting and executing sales demos to formulating proposals and negotiating agreements. Your methodology will cultivate trust and nurture enduring client relationships, persuading them of the distinct value our budgeting tools bring.

You will plan for sales achievements and regularly monitor and report on your performance versus commercial goals.

You will regularly evaluate the relevance and effectiveness of marketing content and campaigns. By analysing key competitors and other relevant stakeholders and/or future partners, you will maximise customer retention as well as identify new prospects.

You will report directly to the CEO of Anago in the Netherlands. You will convert organizational goals into executable sales tactics and work closely on the strategic deployment in the UK. Your associates in Sales, Support and Implementation in the Netherlands will offer extensive support throughout the whole process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Robust and thorough territory and activity planning to generate leads and engage with prospects.

  • Drive customer retention, contract renewals, upsell and deliver satisfaction.
  • Work closely with support teams in the Netherlands on campaign definition, set-up and growth.
  • Work closely with in-house management support teams and product development teams to determine root causes for customer success or failure. Drive requirements for product or process enhancement and development as needed.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to understand customer goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals throughout campaigns
  • Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to manage sales campaigns to successful completion, high customer satisfaction and renewal

Performance measures

  • An average of 10 meaningful leads/prospect meetings each week that drive measurable progress against the following goals:
  • Conversion of an average of 25%.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals up to circa 100k new cohort experiences in a year.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience in Business Development / Commercial Account Management.
  • Experience in sales and territory management.
  • Dynamic personality, able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of an organisation.
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organisations.
  • A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation-setting and completion of planned deliverables.
  • Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships.
  • Clear understanding of effective sales methodologies with a demonstrable ability to plan, articulate and execute sales engagements through all phases.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, entrepreneurial.
