BMS Tech Sales is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Central Government sales efforts. As the Head of Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and targets.
- Lead a High-Performing Sales Team: Motivate and empower a team of sales professionals to achieve exceptional results, foster a collaborative environment, and drive sales growth.
- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and drive sustainable growth.
- Capture and Communicate Value Proposition: Develop and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate the unique value proposition and solutions to customers and partners.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work seamlessly with fellow sales managers, marketing, and delivery teams to deliver a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements:
- Proven Sales Experience: Proven experience selling services in the central government, ideally within the IT solutions and services domain.
- Leadership and Team Management: Experience of managing and developing high-performing sales teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, and achieving impressive results.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the government and associated public sector landscape, its challenges, and its evolving opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with customers and partners.
Package: Base salary up to £120k, with potential for double OTE.
