Playstack seeks a dedicated, dynamic and extremely knowledgeable Games Marketing Manager to spearhead the campaigns of several outstanding PC and Console projects releasing over the next 18 months and beyond.
As a key member of the PC and Console team, you will play an influential role in a wide range of tasks, from game trailer concepts to campaign slogans, influencer programs, social media concepts, store text, screenshot creation, advertising campaigns, artwork discussions and more.
You are a mid-level marketing professional eager to hit the ground running and be frontline managing two separate game campaigns. Direct experience of game campaign management in the core PC and console space is essential.
The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, a clear communicator, and able to plan simultaneously against both short-term and long-term deadlines. You'll be an active part of the marketing team's driving mission to strategically publish content at unimpeachable standards and always on time.
You will have plenty to keep busy with, and - supported by a world-class publishing and marketing team - will be on a clear career progression path.
A passion for games is critical. Ultimately the successful applicant will help the marketing team across both public-facing material as well as internal communications, and will need to have a genuine drive to succeed in both.
Core Duties:
- Campaign management: Working with the marketing team and VP Publishing to schedule marketing beats, brainstorm new opportunities, execute approved plans, sense-test ideas
- Scheduling campaigns against each project's milestones
- Creative work: Input in Trailers, Art assets, Press Releases (you would be contributing ideas and feedback on all of these, not creating them)
- Steam Tags: Analysis and optimisation
- Maximising visibility of product pages on Steam
- Managing participation in the schedule of virtual events (Next Fest, LudoNarraCon, etc)
- Product page presentation work: Improvements to product pages in line with latest publishing ideas and opportunities
