About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Console Support Specialist to join our team at Gunzilla Games. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our console players, addressing their inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our console workflows and help center articles, ensuring a seamless gaming experience for our players.

Responsibilities
  • Assist console players with inquiries and issues via chat-based clients, social media, and email.
  • Investigate and resolve player issues efficiently, providing clear and concise solutions.
  • Collaborate with the support team to develop console-friendly support policies and workflows.
  • Design and conduct training sessions for support representatives on console policies and workflows.
  • Monitor and report on common console issues and trends, providing feedback to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of console-related help center articles and FAQs.
  • Participate in playtests and provide feedback to enhance the gaming experience.
  • Act as a liaison between the support team and product group, ensuring a deep understanding of console player needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in console support, preferably in the games industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize with players and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Comfortable working with social media and online communication channels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working with confidential customer account information.
  • Strong knowledge of PS5 and XBOX environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
  • Advanced typing skills.
  • Passion for video games.
