Family Support Assistant (Sandford Hill Primary School)
15 Hours per week - Term time only
We are excited to be able to advertise for a Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our dedicated and caring team of staff from September 2024.
Sandford Hill is a two-form primary school, with extremely well-behaved pupils who are keen to learn, whilst following our ethos of 'Thoughtfulness, Respect and Hard Work'. We also have incredibly committed staff who are proud to work at our school and enjoy coming to work.
The successful candidate will:
- have an understanding safeguarding and work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to support families through early help intervention;
- undertake first day contact of parents/carers and liaise with other staff regarding persistent absentees: follow through incomplete registrations and reasons for absence;
- be open to professional growth; accepting advice and having a willingness to improve; and
- implement school policies and procedures which impact on behaviours for learning.
