Our Opportunity

We are currently in the process of building a Transactional Finance team here in the UK, bringing a shared service model back on shore. We currently have multiple opportunities available within this space. As part of this process, we currently have an opportunity to join our Finance team as a Shared Service Team Leader on a 2 year fixed term contract.

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and assisting with all Transactional Finance duties, including AP/AR and expense processing. You will manage a team of 3 as well as ensuring that all payments are made and received on time.

This is a hybrid role working a minimum of two days per week from our site in St Katherine's Dock, London.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Oversee and manage the activity of the AP and AR teamProcessing high volume of supplier invoicesDistribution of invoices to CustomersManaging customers both externally and internallyMatching invoices and purchase/sales ordersProcessing bulk invoicesMonthly supplier/customer statement reconciliationsEntering data into OracleOther ad-hoc administrative and finance duties when required

Technical Skills and Experience
Experience of managing an Accounts Payable and Receivable team Ability to produce detailed & accurate informationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent organisation and time management skillsSound working knowledge of ExcelStrong analytical skills

Human Skills
Good interpersonal skillsAbility to multitaskSolution orientated

What to expect

We aim to complete a one-stage interview process, with this being held in-person at our St Katherine's Dock office. The interview will focus separately on technical and behavioural competencies.
