About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Officer to join our Shared Services Partnership team. As a Direct Payments Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering our Direct Payment service, ensuring that our service users receive timely and accurate financial payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete regular financial payments to service users
  • Monitor user accounts to carry out vital risk analysis and prevent financial abuse
  • Work in partnership with contacts across the department to enforce compliance and personalisation principles
  • Regularly review cases, maintain records, and train other staff members
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience making electronic payments to service users
  • Strong knowledge of financial administration and great communication skills
  • Previous experience in direct payments and the ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
