We are working closely with a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Direct Payments Officer on a 2-month contract, which may be extended at the client\u2019s discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: \u00a318.95 - \u00a323.59 per Hour

Key Responsibilities
  • To support and advise service users of social care provision who receive or apply for Direct Payments.
  • To enable service users to find support that meets their assessed needs.
  • To advise and guide service users on how to manage their Direct Payment within policy guidelines and framework.
  • To work alongside the Council\u2019s Social Work and financial services, procurement services, and external independent sector service partners.
  • To promote the use of direct payments as a solution to having a care package that meets need.
Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience.
  • Some experience of working in Social Services, voluntary sector, or Health.
  • Experience of managing accounts and working out care costs.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
