If you like the sound of the above, one of our In-Play Trading Assistant roles could be perfect for you As a part of the In-Play team you will be responsible for trading a whole host of engaging In-Play product, from price boosts to player stat markets. You might even be trading the biggest football games of the year. We use data to make strong, well thought out decisions and put the customer at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with other Tribes to improve our products and to help ensure we offer customers a cutting edge sportsbook experience. Trading is a fast-paced, multi-functional area working 24/7, 365 days a year.

What you will do?


As an In-Play Trading Assistant at Sky Bet you will be working closely with our Senior Traders and Trading Assistants to deliver an outstanding product. You will be joining a tight-knit team with like-minded individuals, who are all responsible for trading everything from Liverpool to Alfreton Town. You name it, we cover it and you will be part of that journey. We encourage game-changing thinking, and want you to share your knowledge and opinions to help us stay in front of the competition, our ears are always open to new ideas, and we are just waiting to hear your voice In this role you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile football events all year round, delivering an exceptional product in a variety of ways. One day you might be trading the Manchester derby, and the next you are on Finland amateur leagues; no two days are the same. Collectively and individually we strive to learn, adapt our skills and strategise to ensure our customers have the best product and experience possible.

How you will do it?
With the support of our supervisors and experienced traders your talent will be nurtured and developed through our tailored training sessions. This will help develop your skills and knowledge towards trading, therefore setting you on your way to be successful within our number one team. You will look at everything from the perspective of the customer to ensure that we are trading the live football events that they love. We do not believe in departmental barriers here at Sky Bet; you will work closely with the whole of the Trading Department, Social Team and Customer Experience Centre to improve the customer experience.

What is in it for you?

This role is a great chance to gain insight and experience in an industry leading Trading Department and is an ideal position for someone wishing to explore a career in Trading.

This is a part time position on a 12 month fixed term contract, you will be contracted to 16 hours and flexible to work between the hours of 7:00 - 23:00. Overtime could be available around peak events once fully trained.

We are using virtual hiring and remote on-boarding to help our candidates and hiring managers stay safe. Face to face interactions will move over to video for this vacancy.
