As an Educational Support Specialist, your primary role will involve assisting and guiding groups of learners, while also offering technical assistance in all areas related to the maintenance and general upkeep of machinery and workshop facilities.
Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting demonstrations for students and providing instruction on fundamental craft techniques as necessary. Therefore, possessing the ability to communicate effectively with both young individuals and adults, along with a genuine enthusiasm for helping them achieve their qualifications, is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained, serviced, and prepared in accordance with manufacturer specifications and health and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to students in a workshop environment.
- Conduct demonstrations and instruct students on basic craft techniques.
Applicants should have relevant industry experience and hold a qualification of NVQ Level 2 in any construction craft trade. Experience in an educational or training capacity, along with the ability to demonstrate skills effectively, is highly desirable.
