The Early Careers Specialist is a critical partner relationship role that is focused on ensuring consistent delivery and an excellent candidate experience to achieve Diageo's Talent Ambition, through early careers hiring across our organisation.

The Early Careers Specialist is an integral part of our Europe Talent Engagement organisation, supporting Early Careers hiring across Europe Markets, Global Functions & Supply Chain. Early Careers forms a fundamental pillar within our Inclusion & Diversity framework, enabling us to attract diverse talent for our early careers programs across Europe.

About the role

The Early Careers Specialist will support the Early Careers Manager in delivery of content with identified external partners to ensure a multi-channel omnipresent attraction strategy that helps us attract and retain great diverse talent across each region. This role will support the creation of university / student community partnerships that drives engagement with diverse talent. The Early Careers Specialist will coordinate external events and webinars and internal workshops to enhance the Diageo Early Careers Program as an employer of choice.

A core deliverable of the Early Careers Specialist will be supporting the Early Careers Manager in delivering an effective assessment strategy for Europe. You will partner closely with Talent Engagement Managers for each market/function, working closely to ensure the successful coordination and execution of assessment centres to drive successful diverse hiring, including candidate selection. You will lead on creating positive candidate / partner engagement throughout the recruitment process and a consistent onboarding experience.

Success in the role will be ensuring we hire a diverse group of high quality candidates that are in line with our 2030 ambitions and the agreed targeted number within each market/function.

About you

The Early Careers Specialist will have a passion for early careers hiring and have experience in driving a structured program in close collaboration with multiple collaborators across complex regions and functions.

We are looking for an individual with the ability to inspire, be organized and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being capable of developing strong working relationships.
