About the Role

The Early Careers Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager: Corporate Communications and Public Affairs to join our team. As a key member of our communications and PR team, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Manager in driving accounts forward and contributing to the development of communications campaigns.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Account Manager: Anticipate and respond to client requests, use initiative to contribute ideas to drive accounts forward, and work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals.
  • Research and Draft Communications Materials: Develop high-quality communications materials, including press releases, newsletters, feature articles, and stakeholder audits, under the supervision of the Account Manager.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships, respond to client requests, and ensure that community hotlines are manned and monitored.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Sell in and negotiate features and interviews, meet journalists, and evaluate coverage.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with local government and national government structure and decision-making processes, as well as policy context for our sectors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Required.
  • Excellent Communication and Writing Skills: Essential for developing high-quality communications materials and managing client relationships.
  • Self-Motivation and Tenacity: Required to drive accounts forward and contribute to the development of communications campaigns.
