We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Smart Buildings Site Manager to join our team, overseeing the prestigious Imperial College London campus. This is a field-based role, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of Central London's most vibrant areas, from South Kensington to White City.
As the Smart Buildings Site Manager, you will be the driving force behind the efficient operation of the Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) across a diverse range of facilities, including Data Centres, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory & Research, Higher Education, Student Accommodation, Leisure Facilities, and more. This is an off-the-tools position where your leadership and management skills will be paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and inspire a dedicated Smart Buildings Site Team comprising Senior Engineers, Junior Engineers, Operators, and Coordinators.
Ensure the seamless operation of BEMS across all buildings, maintaining optimal performance and efficiency.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Imperial College London, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Foster clear and effective communication within the team, with clients, and across all levels of the organisation.
Navigate the complexities of working in high-stakes environments, always ensuring reliability and compliance.
What do I need?
Proven experience in managing BEMS, with a strong background in critical environments such as data centres, healthcare, or education.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
In-depth understanding of BEMS technology and systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
