About the Team:

This newly formed team will play a crucial role in our ambition to achieve net zero emissions. They will work closely with our energy suppliers to facilitate the installation of smart meters across our existing metered properties.

Emphasizing a collaborative, creative, and strong work ethic, the team will cultivate a supportive environment where everyone contributes towards shared project objectives. While our work can be demanding, we prioritize the well-being of our staff and foster a nurturing workplace.

About the Role:

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the project manager and energy suppliers to ensure access to meter locations. Your responsibilities will include traveling across the Borough to various sites, addressing access challenges, and implementing effective solutions. Strong communication with residents through letters and phone calls will be essential to secure access and inform them of any service interruptions. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in identifying, reporting, and coordinating necessary remedial actions at sites to ensure successful meter installations.

Your contributions as a Smart Meter Installation Technician will be integral to the success of the smart meter installation initiative, and your dedication and teamwork will be essential in achieving our objectives.
