Faststream is recruiting fora Marine Engineer Officers to join a Ferry in London as soon as possible.

The client is offering a rolling contract that will have the opportunity to move into a permanent position after successful sailing.


The role offers:

  • Attractive day rate
  • Rotational shifts (early / late)
  • When permanent, a generous company pension scheme
  • When permanent, free travel in relevant areas for employee and spouse
The desired candidate will have the following:

  • Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW) Unlimited CoC OR Electro Technical Officer (ETO) CoC
  • Experience with diesel electric / hybrid / pure electric propulsions
  • Experience sailing on a small Ferry / Multicat / Workboat or other small vessels
  • London based or reasonable commute to London
  • Right to Work in UK
  • Availability to join as soon as possible
