About The Wildlife Trusts:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Marine Conservation Officer to spearhead initiatives aimed at improving marine conservation policies in Wales. This role is crucial for addressing the pressing challenges faced by marine ecosystems and will involve collaboration with various stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of marine conservation strategies.
2. Engage with stakeholders to advocate for marine wildlife protection.
3. Monitor and report on marine conservation efforts and their impacts.
4. Maintain accurate records and prepare professional presentations.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- A solid understanding of marine wildlife issues and relevant legislation.
- Experience in advocacy and policy development.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
