About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Communications and Campaigns to join our team at the Marine Conservation Society. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and fundraising communications and campaigns to enhance our brand and raise mission awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to engage and inspire our audience to support our conservation goals.
  • Lead a team of communications professionals to deliver creative and impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of our communications budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our communications efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize our strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing and executing effective marketing and fundraising communications and campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading communications teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and stories.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources to achieve communications goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
