Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficient opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and visual merchandising.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, increasing revenue and profit margins.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Train and coach sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide feedback on performance.

Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, setting goals and providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive store culture.

Inventory Control:

  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.

Budgeting and Reporting:

  • Manage the store's budget, controlling costs and achieving financial targets.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, analysing performance data to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail management experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and point-of-sale systems.
