Opportunity Overview

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Assistant Store Manager or Team Leader eager to advance their career while making a meaningful impact.

The Assistant Store Manager position at Newlife is distinctive, enabling you to create remarkable experiences by driving sales within your store, ultimately generating funds to support disabled children and their families. Each day presents new challenges, and due to the dynamic nature of our business, product offerings can change rapidly. Thus, you must be adaptable and quick-thinking to adjust layouts and merchandising strategies to boost sales.

Candidates must possess a commercial mindset, be people-oriented, and deliver operational excellence, placing the customer at the heart of all activities.

Previous retail management experience is essential, as you will collaborate effectively with the Store Manager and the store team. Your role will involve maximizing retail sales and profitability through the proficient daily management of a sales team composed of both paid staff and volunteers. You will be expected to actively engage with KPIs, utilize your creative skills to merchandise products to a high standard, and ensure exceptional customer service delivery.

Flexibility in your work approach is necessary, as you may need to cover additional hours and occasionally assist at other Newlife locations to meet business needs.
