About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at our Cardiff store. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our charity retail operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including stock, utilities, and other operational costs.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance store performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a charity retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide the store team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
