Belmond is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a renowned luxury travel company, Belmond offers a unique collection of hotels, trains, river&canal cruises, and safari lodges in breathtaking destinations around the world.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function, including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and learning and development. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with Belmond's objectives and plan.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Department and provide support to the management team
  • Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives to achieve Belmond's strategic objectives
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Oversee recruitment and hiring practices to ensure an efficient and effective process
  • Implement performance management systems and support talent development
  • Monitor employee relations and provide guidance to managers and supervisors
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus
