The company is a well known business with recognition world wide in the retail industry. With a headcount of 30 employees and looking to scale, this role is Headquartered in London, the company is known for its high-quality consumer goods and its commitment to innovation.

Description

Planning and creating strategies to ensure achievement of Company H.R. objectives.Monitoring and analysing H.R. metrics to provide reports to senior management on key issues (e.g., turnover rates and cost per hire)Implementing a continuous improvement agenda with a focus on engagement, maximising productivity, devolving H.R. responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capabilityBeing aware of and managing litigation risksEnsuring employee compliance with Company policies and proceduresBeing accountable for Company compliance with current regulations, professional standards, policies and procedures and legislationProviding expert professional advice to senior management on all areas of H.R., including payroll, learning and development, H.R. policy and best practice and developmentSupporting senior management on employee engagementCommunicating Company H.R. initiatives and programmesPreparing employment contracts and Company references for employeesEnsuring Right to Work checks are conducted.Supporting payroll in monitoring holiday entitlement, attendance and sickness, maternity leave etc.Managing the roll out of training across the business (e.g. resilience, Insights etc.)Delivering training on issues on areas such as workplace respect and equalityLiaising with senior management on all potential recruitmentEnsuring compliance with a standardised onboarding processOverseeing the development and implementation of an effective talent pipeline and succession planning.Designing and leading a performance review programme, which supports continuous development for all employees.Overseeing the creation of training and development plans for employeesChampioning a high-performance cultureSupporting on performance improvement plansManaging disciplinaries and grievancesReviewing and managing Company employee programmes, staff benefits and packages.Agreeing relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for incentive schemes, where appropriateEnsuring the efficient management of annual H.R. budgetsForming strong relationships with Senior Managers and Executives to ensure the H.R. perspective is fully represented in decision making.ProfileExcellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations, human resource management principles and best practiceStrong organisational and leadership skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA collaborative and solutions driven attitude.Motivation and enthusiasmJob OfferA comprehensive benefits package.A strong and supportive company culture.Opportunity to lead a dynamic HR team in a leading retail company.
