We are recruiting for a logistics administrator to support the logistics Manager of a busy manufacturing company based in Kingswinford.

The logistics administrator role will be to assist the efficient distribution of machines, accessories and spare parts to the UK customer base, from the logistics organisation. You will be working with the UK management team to ensure the UK strategy and business goals are achieved

Main duties will be:
  • Booking machine deliveries and collections with our third-party contractors
  • Confirm delivery dates of machine orders to customer services department
  • Providing ETA's and POD's for deliveries and being primary contact for any delivery queries
  • Raise loading sheets, pick lists and despatch notes, for all machine and accessory movements, ensuring accurate documentation is maintained and filed
  • To support the Spare Parts department during busy periods and providing holiday cover, assisting with order entry, pick lists and filing
  • To provide additional support across the Logistics Department as and when required
  • Process Credit Notes for all Spares Returns
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
  • Previous experience working in a logistics or supply chain environment is desirable
  • Ability to communicate with Internal Departments
  • Ability to communicate with customers
  • Contribute within logistics organisation
  • Planning & Organisation
  • Time Management
  • Work as part of fast responsive team
