We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Asset Management Team as a Property Management Lead.

Your role

To provide strategic leadership and day to day management of the Property Management Portfolio. To include the management of a Property Manager and Property Management Assistant within this team.

Responsible for the management of a selection of the Asset Management Investment portfolio in relation to valuations, landlord and tenant relationships, inspections, service charge budgeting and rent/debt monitoring.

Reporting to the Asset and Investment Manager, Senior Leaders and members on the performance of the portfolios.

What you will need

You will have extensive recent experience in the professional property environment and experience of operating in a local authority environment either at County, District or Unitary level. The post holder will have relevant previous post qualification experience at a senior level, minimum 5 years and have experience of lease and tenancy negotiations, rent collection and service charge budget setting.

You will have line management experience and experience of dealing with senior personnel and council members.
