Deputy Nursing Home Manager Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join a growing nursing team at one of our esteemed client's facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional person-centered care in a supportive and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to oversee the management of nursing services, ensuring adherence to high standards of care.
  • Lead and mentor a team of nurses, providing clinical supervision, training, and ongoing support.
  • Develop and implement person-centered care plans, promoting resident well-being and independence.
  • Ensure compliance with NMC and CQC regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Oversee medication management processes, ensuring safe and accurate administration of medications.
  • Conduct staff reviews, appraisals, and team meetings to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports to reflect best practices and planned development initiatives.
  • Step in as the Home Manager when required, ensuring seamless operations during their absence.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
  • Active NMC PIN
  • Clear DBS check
  • Comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations
  • Proven experience in leading a nursing team and delivering person-centered care
