Position Overview:

Join our team at SSEN Transmission and take part in shaping the future of Europe's transmission networks. As an asset planning and investment professional, you will be at the forefront of enabling the transition to a low-carbon economy. Your role will involve leading business cases for projects, analyzing investment opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Produce high-quality investment papers and business cases considering asset condition, risk, safety, and financial factors.
  • Monitor project delivery, review scope changes, and conduct post-investment appraisals for future optimization.
  • Utilize asset management tools for portfolio analysis and participate in regulatory engagements.
  • Develop risk-based investment plans aligned with network development and regulatory conditions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in project management with infrastructure assets and investment modeling.
  • Knowledge of investment appraisals, cost-benefit analysis, and economic modeling.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and time management skills.
  • Degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field.
  • Desirable to have Institute of Asset Management qualification or equivalent.
