Custody Ecosystems Product Manager : Post Trade Settlement Workflow – AVP (UK or US)

The Custody Product organisation is looking for a Product Manager to drive the Post Trade Settlement Workflow strategy within the wider Custody Ecosystem/Disruptive Technology initiative. In addition to focusing on the Post Trade Settlement Workflow, the successful candidate will also contribute to other Custody Ecosystems projects such as Account Opening and Tax. State Street's Custody Product team is undergoing a transformative phase and is seeking an experienced product manager with strong subject matter expertise and industry presence to join the team.

Function

As a Custody Ecosystems Product Manager, you will work with a small team to engage with FinTech companies that are disrupting the Custody landscape. Your main role will involve taking the strategy from concept to implementation, identifying partnership opportunities, building business cases, and driving implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with FinTech companies and internal stakeholders
  • Drive platform adoption and demonstrate benefits
  • Participate in industry events
  • Identify FinTechs that can bring value to Custody
  • Develop business cases and gain senior buy-in
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal & TPRM as needed

Skills

  • Strong programme management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Intellectually curious and self-motivated
  • Effective communicator at all levels

Experience

  • Prior experience in Settlements Operations
  • Proven track record of driving large programs
  • Knowledge of Global Custody business
  • Experience in Product, Operations, or Technology roles

Location

This role is based in London Canary Wharf or State Street offices in Boston.
