Key Responsibilities:
As a Custodial Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and welfare of both staff and inmates.
Your duties will include:
- Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Direct management of custodial staff.
- Supporting and motivating staff to provide effective services.
- Leading efforts to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Applying safeguarding principles to protect inmates and their families.
- Utilizing a trauma-informed approach to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
- Collaborating with partners to foster continuous improvement.
- Providing staff care and support through training and supervision.
- Upholding high standards of cleanliness and security.
Candidate Profile:
We welcome applications from individuals who are driven, diligent, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous managerial experience.
- Basic to intermediate IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and standards in the correctional field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a custodial or secure environment is advantageous but not essential.
