School Administrator (part-time 0.6 FTE/21.75 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Administrator to undertake secretarial and administrative duties to support the School of Biological Sciences and deliver a strong customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

You will provide efficient, pro-active and high quality customer support and assist the School by undertaking a number of secretarial and administrative duties including drafting reports, taking minutes, arranging travel, organising meetings, answering queries and diary management. You will also assist in the procurement of equipment, monitor and maintain finances where required and support new starters.

You will have a good standard of secondary education or equivalent experience in a similar role. Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the ability to manage a varied workload in a high paced environment. Previous experience in procurement processes, budget management and/or updating websites and social media would be advantageous.

This part-time post (0.6 FTE/ 21.75 hours per week) is available on an indefinite basis.
