Position Overview:

We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or school leaver eager to embark on a career in the insurance sector.

This role will focus specifically on the domains of property and construction.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Office Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting our team to surpass the Company's objectives regarding renewal retention:
  • Support Account Executives (AE) and Senior Account Handlers (SAH) throughout the renewal and new business processes.
  • Engage with insurers to obtain terms, prepare risk submissions, and follow up with clients for necessary risk information.
  • Request claims history from insurers and loss adjusters, and liaise with insurers for mid-term policy adjustments.
  • Manage outstanding client invoices and assist with account inquiries.
  • Efficiently organize specific risk information files to aid underwriters in accessing essential technical details for risk assessment.

Conduct PIB Due Diligence and Sanction Check processes while adhering to company broking standards.

Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with clients, insurers, and colleagues, taking ownership of renewals with premiums under £5,000.

Provide general administrative assistance, including:

  • Credit control and Acturis updates.
  • Ensuring compliance with PIB's Quality Assurance and due diligence protocols.
  • Maintaining client records on Acturis (insurance management system).
  • Storing emails to clients and insurers in electronic files.
  • Managing invoicing processes.

Collaborate with our claims handling team to provide necessary information for reporting and managing claims with insurers and loss adjusters.

Maintain communication with the Account Executive regarding significant notifications and emerging trends.

Ensure effective office management and general organization by:

  • Drafting and sending routine correspondence.
  • Handling general telephone inquiries.
  • Photocopying and scanning documents.
  • Managing incoming mail.
  • Participating in relevant functions and seminars as part of your ongoing professional development.
