About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Victim Support team as a Training and Engagement Officer, based in our Norwich office. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and coordinating engagement and promotion activities aligned to the priorities of our local service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate a range of engagement and promotion activities to increase community awareness and support for our services.
  • Develop referral routeways with local organizations to ensure seamless support for victims of crime.
  • Develop and deliver training packages to community partners to promote the work of Victim Support and increase referrals.
  • Expand awareness to partner agencies and community groups of the support available locally to anyone affected by crime.
  • Uphold and promote the values of Victim Support, treating colleagues and service users with fairness and respect.
Requirements
  • Experience of presenting to, training, and developing people.
  • Experience of partnership working, engaging with organizations, and building relationships.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
