Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing & Gas Tutor/Assessor to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a Training Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled trades professionals by delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training in Plumbing and Gas at Level 3 and above.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and adapt course materials to meet educational standards and industry needs.
  • Foster relationships with external parties and promote industry events and activities.
  • Ensure exceptional safety and quality in your work while leading by example.
  • Actively support apprentices' safety and welfare throughout their training journey.

Person Specification:
  • Fully qualified Plumbing & Gas with relevant industry experience.
  • Strong technical abilities and up-to-date knowledge of plumbing and gas technology.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
  • Strong IT, administrative, and organizational skills.
