CONTRACT: Permanent, 0.5FTE Part Time (17.5 hours per week)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A proactive individual who can provide effective leadership and create an outstanding student experience at TU London, evidenced by learner engagement, attainment, retention, and progression. The postholder will lead programmes which develop a set of agreed core graduate talents which will also be modelled by the actions and behaviours of staff. Please note that this post will be based onsite at the TU London campus.

Your responsibilities will include leadership of the team of academic tutors responsible for teaching, assessment, module content design at TU London and the delivery of an outstanding student learning experience. The postholder will be responsible for providing direction and leadership across all academic aspects of TU London, ensuring a strong "one team", solution focused, culture is developed.

You will have knowledge and experience of teaching, administration, curriculum design and development of provision at UK HE level. You will hold a PhD degree. Experience of academic leadership within a higher education environment is essential as is a comprehensive understanding of quality, compliance and student service delivery.

Your skills and expertise will include the ability to lead and manage tutors to deliver strong performance, providing feedback, professional development support and advice, including leading by example; ability to innovate in the delivery of TU London portfolio of courses or its application; ability to supervise individual and team projects; experience of building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and develop productive partnerships with business, the public sector and feeder colleges.
