About the Role
London Business School is seeking a highly skilled Academic Quality Manager to join our team. As a key member of our academic community, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of academic quality and student experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance and Enhancement
- Develop and implement the academic quality framework, ensuring compliance with internal governance, external regulations, and best practices.
- Lead the development of policies and procedures for student casework, ensuring compliance with external regulations and best practices.
- Policy Development and Implementation
- Develop and maintain the online academic quality manual, including carrying out formal reviews of academic policies and procedures.
- Lead the implementation of policy controls and record management for internal and external audit purposes.
- Student Casework and Support
- Manage student casework, including liaising with students, staff, and faculty to investigate cases, prepare reports for formal consideration, and provide expert advice.
- Support academic panels and ensure the consistency of procedures, case outcomes, and maintenance of the School's academic standards.
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Provide data and analysis for reporting purposes and scrutiny, identifying trends and opportunities for enhancements to the academic quality framework.
Requirements
- Experience of managing complaints and/or student casework.
- Good communication skills and the ability to break down technical issues and explain them in layman's terms.
- Experience of using software related to own area of specialism to extract, analyze, and report on data.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive experience of working within a customer-services-oriented environment.
