The Opportunity:

The Data Lab Innovation Centre is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to spearhead the development and delivery of our Professional Learning and Leadership Development programme. Reporting to the Head of Skills, the successful candidate will leverage their expertise in digital and data leadership and culture to design and implement innovative training activities for professionals and senior leaders. This role focuses on evolving the TDL Academy brand, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to empower leaders across various sectors with effective data and AI strategies

The Data Lab is Scotland's innovation centre for data and AI. The Data Lab was founded in 2014 as part of Scotland's Innovation Centres programme.

Through hubs in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness, we foster innovation through collaboration, build skills and grow talent, and champion Scotland's data science community.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience in developing and delivering learning and development strategies and programmes
  • A high level of understanding of Digital and Data Transformation and its applications across sectors
  • Experienced in managing learning management systems, including reporting and analysing data
  • Ability to deliver e-learning and blended solutions
  • Experience in ensuring ROI and value for money

£48,350 to £59,421 per annum
